COMPOSITION : |
|
Each vial contains at least 106 EID50 / ml Fowl Pox virus. |
|
PROPAGATION SYSTEM : |
|
SPF Chicken embryo. |
|
INDICATION : |
|
Protective vaccination of chickens, turkeys and ostriches against |
avain pox. |
|
DOSAGE : |
|
1- The vial content is dissolved well in 25ml sterile solvent or |
physiological saline. |
2- Each dose is inoculated intradermally in the wing web using a |
bifurcated needle for chicks 8-10 weeks age. |
3- Vaccination is repeated every 9 months. |
|
CONTRAINDICTIONS: |
|
Birds clinically ill, laying hens or those weakened by transport should not be vaccinated. |
|
REMARKS: |
|
1- The reconstituted vaccine should be used within 2 hours. |
2- It should be protected from sunlight during vaccination. |
3- Empty and unused opened vials must be destroyed safely and |
hygienically. |
|
INTERACTION: |
|
Other vaccination programs should be carried out at least two weeks before or after fowl pox vaccination. |

STORAGE : |
|
The vaccine should be kept at - 20oC . |
|
EXPIRY DATE: |
|
The vaccine valid for two years at -20oC from date of manufacture. |
|
WITHDRAW PERIOD: |
|
Twenty one days before human consumption must stop the vaccination programs. |
