COMPOSITION : |
|
Each vial contains at least 106 EID50/ml Pigeon Pox virus. |

INDICATION : |
|
Protective vaccination of squabs against Pigeon pox. |
|
DOSAGE : |
|
1. The vial content is dissolved well in 25 ml sterile solvent or |
physiological saline. |
2. Each dose is inoculated in the thigh by feather follicle method of |
squabs 8-10 week age. |
3. vaccination is repeated every 9 months |
|
CONTRAINDIATIONS: |
|
Birds clinically ill, and those weakened by transport should not be vaccinated. |
|
REMARKS: |
|
1. The reconstituted vaccine should be used within 2 hours. |
2. It should be protected from sunlight during vaccination. |
3. Empty and unused opened vials must be destroyed safely |
and hygienically. |

Interaction: |
|
Other vaccination programs should be carried out at least two weeks before or after Pigeon Pox vaccine |

STORAGE : |
|
The vaccine should be kept at- 20oC. |

Expiry date: |
|
The vaccine is valid for two years at - 20oC from date of manfacture. |
