Pigeon Pox vaccine .
 Live attenuated lyophilized vaccine against Pigeon Pox Disease
COMPOSITION : 
 Each vial contains at least 106 EID50/ml Pigeon Pox virus.
PROPAGATION SYSTEM :
 
 SPF chicken embryos 
INDICATION : 
 
 Protective vaccination of squabs against Pigeon pox. 
DOSAGE : 
 1. The vial content is dissolved well in 25 ml sterile solvent or 
 physiological saline. 
2. Each dose is inoculated in the thigh by feather follicle method of 
 squabs 8-10 week age. 
3. vaccination is repeated every 9 months 
CONTRAINDIATIONS: 
 Birds clinically ill, and those weakened by transport should not be vaccinated. 
REMARKS: 
 
1. The reconstituted vaccine should be used within 2 hours. 
2. It should be protected from sunlight during vaccination. 
3. Empty and unused opened vials must be destroyed safely 
 and hygienically. 
Interaction:
 
Other vaccination programs should be carried out at least two weeks before or after Pigeon Pox vaccine 
STORAGE : 
 
 The vaccine should be kept at- 20oC.
Expiry date: 
The vaccine is valid for two years at - 20oC from date of manfacture.
Withdraw period:
Twenty one days before human consumption
