Inactivated Rabbit Haemorrhagic Virus Vaccine .
 
 Inactivated vaccine prepared from livers of artificially infected rabbits, used for active immunization of rabbits against viral haemorrhagic disease.
COMPOSITION : 
 Each dose of the vaccine contains at least 28 (Daoud et. al strain) HAU of a local isolate of rabbit haemorrhagic disease virus inactivated with formaline and suspended in aluminum hydroxide gel. 
INDICATION :
 
 The vaccine is used for active immunization of rabbits against viral haemorrhagic disease. 
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE :
 Each dose is 0.5 ml; inoculated subcutaneously in the dorsal 
 aspect of the neck .
PROGRAMME OF VACCINATION :
1) In slightly contaminated area :
 * Primary vaccination : 
 6-8 week of age .
 * Boosters : 
 Every six months .
 2) In highly contaminated area :
 * Primary vaccination 
 4 weeks of age .
 * Boosters :
 4 weeks after primary vaccination and 
 subsequently every six months
 
PRECAUTION:
 * Vaccinate only healthy birds .
 * The vaccine must be protected from direct sun light and heat .
 * Apply usual aseptic procedures. 
 * Shake the vial well before use .
EXPIRY DATE:
 18 months from date of manufacture .
STORAGE:
 Store between 4 – 8oC.
 Don’t freeze. 
PACKAGE:
 Each bottle contains 10 doses.
